Nice-born by roots and by heart, I have been a lawyer for 30 years. However, in recent years, I have added brushes to the end of my robe to defend in a different way.
What started as a passion to connect with a father who passed away too young, has quickly become a necessity through sketches, oil paints, and collages. I tell you my stories, casting a feminine and compassionate gaze upon often painful women's journeys.
But the colors, vivacity, and spontaneity reveal a sincere intention to bring joy, strength, and hope to everyone.
The bright colors and compositions come to life very spontaneously. My brushes tell stories,
often stories of women, sometimes painful, with the sincere intention of bringing joy, strength, and hope.
Painting is a source of resilience for me, and when it manages to resonate with others, I feel fulfilled.
The practice of live modeling for some of my compositions allows me to experience moments of exchange and sisterhood.
The gaze between the model and the painter is a mirror game, a constructive exchange, a dialogue at times.
The model is both subject and participant in the artwork, and from these exchanged gazes,
a genuine complicity is born that reflects in the creation.
The more I paint, the more I want to paint; the more I paint, the more I feel like understanding my father, even the incomprehensible. The more I paint, the more I know that I will paint the rest of his life. It's a double rebirth.
